Andrew Armstrong

Andrew Armstrong is a 2000 BFA and 2002 MFA graduate of Otis College of Art and Design. His work has appeared at numerous galleries in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. He has taught and lectured at MOCA, the University of California – Irvine, Occidental College and his alma mater, Otis.

Andrew's Trunk Bunk doghouse is principally made of composite decking material. The decking material is made from about 50 percent recycled plastic, and 50 percent reclaimed wood. These materials would otherwise go unused in landfills. The wood comes from lumber reclaim, used pallets and sawdust. The plastic comes from recycled grocery bags.

Andrew lives in Los Angeles.
